New high in weekly inflows
U.S. spot Solana ETFs recorded their strongest week to date, logging $188 million in net inflows in the week ended Sept. 25. According to weekly data shared by Solana’s official account, every fund in the group saw money flow in over the same period.
Bitwise’s BSOL fund took the largest share of the weekly total. The product pulled in about $128 million over five trading days, accounting for roughly two-thirds of the week’s inflows on its own. That once again highlighted Bitwise’s dominance in investor demand.
How did the fund flows break down?
Weekly figures show Bitwise was followed by other major issuers. Grayscale’s GSOL fund drew $28 million, while Fidelity’s FSOL fund recorded $18 million in net inflows.
- Bitwise BSOL: about $128 million
- Grayscale GSOL: $28 million
- Fidelity FSOL: $18 million
- Morgan Stanley, VanEck, Franklin Templeton and 21Shares combined: $14 million
Friday accounted for nearly half of the weekly total
The final trading day of the week was decisive for fund flows. Spot Solana ETFs took in about $87 million on Friday, one of the highest daily figures recorded since the products began trading.
Bitwise also led the daily inflows. BSOL pulled in $56 million on Friday, while Grayscale’s GSOL brought in $19 million. The data show that a large share of the weekly record was built in a single day.
What does net inflow mean?
Spot ETFs give investors exposure to the price of SOL through traditional brokerage accounts without having to manage a crypto wallet. Net inflow shows the difference between the money investors put into the funds and the money they take out; it does not reflect the total trading value of shares changing hands among investors.
Bitwise also leads by a wide margin over time
The data show Bitwise is ahead not only over the past week, but also in total cumulative inflows across the group. BSOL has attracted about $1.2 billion of the roughly $1.6 billion in total net inflows recorded so far. That equals a share of about 76%.
Bitwise’s share over the past week stood at around 68%. While that is below its long-term weighting, it still indicates BSOL drew the largest demand, even against the roughly $60 million combined total gathered by all rival funds.
