Criminal proceedings launched after the fire

A terrorism investigation was opened after a fire broke out shortly after midnight at the WB Electronics plant in Skarzysko-Kamienna, south of Warsaw. The National Prosecutor’s Office of Poland said the probe was launched on Monday and noted that the facility produces drone components supplied to the Polish and Ukrainian armed forces.

The fire was quickly detected, and firefighters reportedly worked for about two hours to bring the flames under control. According to officials, the police are leading the investigation, while the Internal Security Agency is also supporting the process.
