France beat Belgium 4-1 at the Stade de France in UEFA Nations League A1. Despite falling behind in the 35th minute, the hosts turned the game around with goals in the final 15 minutes and stayed top with 10 points.

The opening goal came for the visitors in the 35th minute through Dodi Lukebakio. Three days after drawing 1-1 with Italy, France claimed their first home win under head coach Zinedine Zidane.

Substitutes decided the result

The turning point came late in the match. Desire Doue, introduced from the bench, levelled the score in the 77th minute with a left-footed strike from outside the box.

Four minutes later, Rayan Cherki finished off Michael Olise's cross to put France ahead. Olise then found the net again in the closing moments of normal time and in stoppage time; Doue provided the assist for the second of those goals.

Group A1 standings take shape again

In the other match in the group, Italy beat Turkey 3-1. Gianluca Scamacca, Riccardo Calafiori and Pio Esposito scored for the Italians, while Aral Simsir briefly drew Turkey level.
